Bridging Ancient Wisdom with Modern Life

When we started ZenFit in February 2025, it wasn’t born out of a business plan or a sudden spark of inspiration. It began with a simple question we kept asking ourselves: Why is it that yoga has become so widely embraced around the world, while other time-honored practices from the East—like Tai Chi, Qigong, and Baduanjin—are still unfamiliar to so many?

For centuries, these gentle movements have been passed down from generation to generation, helping people of all ages find balance in body and peace in mind. Yet outside of Asia, very few know how accessible and healing they can be. We felt that was a story worth telling, and more importantly, an experience worth sharing.

ZenFit grew out of this belief. We wanted to create the first fitness app that doesn’t chase speed or intensity, but instead invites you to slow down. Guided by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), we designed our programs to connect movement, breath, and inner balance. In our app, you’ll find Tai Chi flows, Qigong breathing, Eight Brocades sequences, and more—all adapted into short, beginner-friendly sessions you can practice anytime, anywhere.

We’ve seen how different people connect with these practices: an older adult regaining confidence in movement after years of joint pain; a busy professional taking a few mindful breaths between meetings instead of reaching for another coffee; or someone simply curious about Chinese culture, surprised by how grounding and energizing a few minutes of Baduanjin can feel.

At its heart, ZenFit is not just about exercise. It’s about giving people a way to breathe a little deeper, move a little softer, and carry a sense of calm into their everyday lives. That’s the journey we’re on—and we’d love for you to walk it with us.
